SUMMARY:Plant & Human Relationships with Dr. Claudia Welch & Rosemary Gladstar REPLAY RECORDING
DESCRIPTION:This event was held in English in Estonia on July 15\, 2026 and the replay recording is now available through Oct 31\, 2026. It was a great event and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did \nRegistrater here (you may have to choose the “EN” icon or English translation option on your browser; there is often an option for this as soon as you open the page). \nA truly delicious midsummer evening\, a face-to-face meeting with two absolutely extraordinary women whose life’s work combines traditional medicine\, ancient herbal wisdom\, well-being\, and the holistic meaning of health. \nInternationally known and beloved 𝑫𝒓. 𝑪𝒍𝒂𝒖𝒅𝒊𝒂 𝑾𝒆𝒍𝒄𝒉 (Ayurveda) and queen of Western herbalism 𝑹𝒐𝒔𝒆𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒚 𝑮𝒍𝒂𝒅𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒓 represent different views on life\, but they face exactly the same questions in their work. How to listen to nature? How to understand the effects of plants\, not just chemically\, but experientially? How does a relationship with plants really affect healing\, daily practices\, and life in general? \nThe focus of the dialogue\, open to the public\, is: \n🌿 Western herbalism and its development\n🌿 Use and protection of medicinal plants in today’s world\n🌿 how to create and deepen a living relationship with plants\n🌿 how Ayurveda addresses the relationship between humans\, plants\, ethics and time\n🌿 Western versus Eastern (Ayurvedic) approach to herbal medicine \n🌸 Rosemary Gladstar – often called 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒈𝒐𝒅𝒎𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒍𝒃𝒍𝒂𝒛𝒆𝒓 𝒐𝒇 𝒎𝒐𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒏 𝑾𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒏 𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒃𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒎\, is an author\, teacher and lifelong plant lover. Her love for the natural world began in early childhood\, where her grandmother taught her how to gather wild plants for food and healing. It was through foraging that she recognized her calling – to heal\, to teach\, and to listen deeply to the wisdom of the green world. \nRosemary’s teachings invite us to restore our innate connection with living nature\, to learn the language of our own bodies and hearts and to see plants as sources of wisdom and compassion. Her approach is both practical and accessible\, welcoming beginners and experienced herbalists alike. \nShe is the author of 11 books and the founder of 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝑺𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔\, an organization dedicated to the protection and sustainable use of native medicinal plants. She is also a beloved presence at international gatherings such as the International Herb Symposium and the New England Women’s Herbal Conference. Through her work\, Rosemary has helped cultivate a global community rooted in respect\, reciprocity and love for the plant kingdom. \n🌸 𝑫𝒓. 𝑪𝒍𝒂𝒖𝒅𝒊𝒂 𝑾𝒆𝒍𝒄𝒉 is a Doctor of Oriental Medicine\, a beloved women’s health teacher\, and a lifelong student of Eastern traditions and medicine\, including Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Her way of translating this timeless wisdom into modern life is extremely simple and practical. She is also one of the few Western doctors who has long practiced the principles of both systems and created a clear and practical bridge between them. \nClaudia is the author of Balance Your Hormones\, Balance Your Life: Achieving Optimal Health and Wellness Through Ayurveda\, Chinese Medicine and Western Science and The Four Qualities of Effective Physicians: Practical Ayurvedic Wisdom for Modern Physicians . She is also one of the founders of the Satsangam.net project\, which delves into the deeper principles of life that underlie ancient knowledge systems. Claudia’s international lectures on oriental medicine provide insightful perspectives on women’s health in a contemporary context. \n🌸 Organizer and host: Ayurvedic chef and lifestyle practitioner Kaja Keil. Kindly contact Kaja with any questions. \n🫖 You are kindly invited and welcome \nregistration here  (you may have to choose the “EN” icon or English translation option on your browser; there is often an option for this as soon as you open the page). \nPlease address any questions about this event to: \nKaja Keil\n+37256466314 \neliksiiria@gmail.com

SUMMARY:Mothering Boys: Heal Our Bodies & Raise the Sons Our World Needs
DESCRIPTION:When a mother is depleted\, her son often carries it — showing up as dysregulation\, aggression\, or a vulnerability to the wrong influences. In this free online conversation\, three practitioners come together to explore the link between maternal nervous system health and the emotional development of boys\, drawing on Eastern medicine\, somatic wisdom\, and decades of work with young people. \nDr. Claudia Welch\, a educator in Ayurveda\, Doctor of Oriental Medicine and author of Balance Your Hormones\, Balance Your Life\, will speak to how women’s depletion patterns — what Ayurveda calls yin depletion — shape the households and children around them. Courtney LaCava\, an Ayurvedic Practitioner and Somatic Guide with 25 years of experience\, will share how mothers can restore their own vitality while raising resilient sons\, bridging ancestral practice with modern parenting. Mark Morey\, who has spent 60 years developing human-potential and nature-based programs — including 18 years leading boys’ initiation rites through the Vermont Wilderness School and Art of Mentoring — will bring the perspective of community\, mentorship\, and rites of passage. \nTogether they’ll discuss mothering from “Source energy” rather than stress energy\, why community-based rites of passage matter for boys\, and practical ways women can begin restoring themselves — not just for their own sake\, but for the sake of the sons they’re raising. \nThis conversation is for mothers of boys\, and for practitioners who work with women and want a deeper understanding of the connection between maternal health and child development. \nRegistration is free and reserves your spot; a recording will be sent to everyone who registers\, so you can attend live or watch later.

SUMMARY:Making Meaning of Menopause with Kimberly Bady
DESCRIPTION:Curiosity at the Threshold: The Stories That Help Us Make Meaning of Menopause\nSession Description\nWhat might change if we approached menopause with curiosity? When Kimberly Bady entered perimenopause\, she found herself asking questions that extended far beyond symptoms: What is this season asking of me? How have women in other cultures experienced this passage? Where are the elders\, stories\, and rituals to help us make meaning of the change? \nThose questions led Kimberly into conversations with women and elders\, explorations of aging and menopause across cultures\, and the work of West African teacher Sobonfu Somé of the Dagara people. Through Somé’s teachings about ritual\, initiation\, community\, and elderhood\, Kimberly began to understand menopause not only as a biological transition\, but also as a threshold into a different way of knowing and becoming. \nWeaving personal stories with cultural wisdom and reflection\, Kimberly will explore how curiosity can help us question inherited beliefs about menopause and aging\, listen more deeply to our own experiences\, and discover the wisdom already taking shape within us. Participants will be invited to consider the stories they have been given about growing older—and the stories they now want to live\, embody\, and pass forward. \nKimberly Bady\nKimberly Bady is a storyteller\, menopause mentor\, certified integrative nutrition health coach\, yoga and breathwork teacher\, author\, and TEDx speaker. She is the founder of Liberated Womanhood\, a community devoted to honoring the seasons and stages of a woman’s life as powerful rites of passage. \nAs a former women’s ministry director\, Kimberly spent years helping girls prepare for and celebrate their passage into womanhood. Yet when she entered perimenopause herself\, she discovered that women were rarely offered the same preparation\, stories\, rituals\, or community as they crossed into the wisdom years. \nCuriosity became Kimberly’s guide. Her own journey inspired her to ask deeper questions about menopause\, aging\, elderhood\, and how women and cultures around the world make meaning of life’s great transitions. Through storytelling\, conversations with women and elders\, holistic wellness practices\, and the study of rites of passage and traditional wisdom\, she began to understand menopause as more than a biological change—it could also be a profound threshold of becoming. \nToday\, Kimberly helps women approach menopause with greater curiosity\, self-compassion\, and reverence. Her work invites women to question inherited beliefs about aging\, listen to the wisdom of their bodies\, reclaim their voices\, and recognize the stories they are now being called to live and pass forward. \nTo join us\, join the Menopause Chronicles global community: \nOver the course of the mind-bending\, shape-shifting transition into and beyond menopause\, arguably the deepest system of the body–the endocrine system–massively rearranges. There is simply no way this doesn’t shift the way we feel\, think\, and perceive reality. It is an extraordinary\, awe-inspiring\, sometimes horrifying transition….even if you do everything\, “right”. \nIn this twice-monthly\, live\, online (Zoom) membership-based fellowship\, Dr. Welch\, friends\, colleagues and participants share experiences and perspectives around this monumental experience\, in deep\, sometimes funny\, far-ranging conversations. We welcome you to join us. A subscription is required to participate. You can join anytime and cancel your subscription whenever you like. \nClick here for more information\, schedule\, and registration. \nYou can use World Time Buddy to help with time zone conversions
