10:30-1:30p and 3-5p on both Saturday and Sunday
Information will be layered so we can not offer a day rate on Sunday.
In this seminar we will address many of the main health concerns of women including understanding hormonal changes, breast health, infertility or other considerations that participants may have, from a perspective that combines Ayurveda, nadi theory and Western science.
When we explore ancient Ayurvedic and Tantric texts we find breath to be one of the most powerful and instantaneous tools we can use to affect our minds, hearts and bodies. We will learn how the breath can affect the hormones and will practice techniques to bring about balance in this area.
In the modern world stress is affecting each of us in surprising ways. It is a major culprit in hormonal imbalance and is at the root of most women’ s health concerns. Over the course of this weekend, we will learn simple approaches to understanding stress and sex hormones, and apply Ayurvedic nadi theory to practically address hormonal balance through breathing techniques.
Please wear comfortable clothes. We will not be doing asana, but we may be spending between 1-2 hours each day doing practical exercises for the cultivation of prana.
