Join Dr. Welch and Menopause Chronicles participants as we welcome our guest instructor Jane Bennett on Wednesday, Oct 1, 2025 at 6pm ET (New York time).
Jane Bennett, founder of the Chalice Foundation and a pioneer in menstrual education, joins us to explore how growing awareness around menopause is beginning to transform workplaces, communities, and public health initiatives. Drawing on over four decades of experience as a facilitator, counselor, and menstrual educator, Jane will share how initiatives across government, business, and community sectors are helping women navigate the transitions of midlife. We’ll reflect on how cultural narratives are shifting, how menstrual and menopausal wellbeing are being recognized as essential to gender equity, and what these changes mean for women’s ability to remain in their careers if they choose.
Jane launched Celebration Day for Girls in 2000 and Fathers Celebrating Daughters in 2004, now international programs with facilitator trainings and outreach. She is also co-creator of The Rite Journey girls’ year 9 program, and has a longstanding role with Natural Fertility Management. Her published works include A Blessing Not a Curse, Girltopia, About Bloody Time, Ourselves at Work, The Complete Guide to Optimum Conception, and The Pill: Are You Sure It’s For You?
