Join Dr. Welch and Menopause Chronicles participants as we welcome our guest instructor Kimberly Ann Johnson on Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at 6pm Eastern Time.

Kimberly Ann Johnson is a sexological bodyworker, Somatic Experiencing practitioner, postpartum advocate, mom, and culture worker. She is the author of Call of the Wild, the early mothering classic The Fourth Trimester, and Reckoning, co-authored with Stephen Jenkinson. Her newest book is Erotic Seasons, forthcoming November 17, 2026. She has taught courses on women’s sexuality and spirituality, nationally and internationally, for more than 15 years.

In this session, Kimberly will invite us to consider the female body as its own spiritual path, where menopause becomes a threshold of initiation, maybe the biggest one of a lifetime. We have to learn to reckon with that which is unbidden and unsought. As a 52 year old post-menopausal woman, Kimberly will share about her own complex underworld journey as well as the treasures that she’s found.
