For everyone.
The ancient Ayurvedic practice of seasonal routines provides advice on how best to act and conduct ourselves as we move through the seasons. When we apply these age-old principles in a contemporary context, we learn to consciously align our bodies and senses with each season in order to better navigate different stages of life. This program explores an Ayurvedic perspective on the role of the senses in promoting health, including how sensory experience shifts with seasonal changes and how the subtle aspects of the senses can help us perceive reality more accurately.
Using presentations, experiential practice, and group discussion, Ayurvedic luminaries Dr. Robert E. Svoboda and Dr. Claudia Welch dive into the fundamentals of establishing seasonal routines and the wisdom that enlivens them. Come learn how to create daily practices that enhance emotional, mental, and physical health. We’ll pay particular attention to the winter season, as well as new ways to promote the body’s healthy transition into spring.
