Passages After Menopause: Trusting the Twists with Diana Beach

June 4 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Join us for a special live session of Menopause Chronicles with guest instructor Diana Beach—a Jungian analyst trained in Zurich, the first woman to attend an Episcopal seminary, and a deeply thoughtful guide through the later passages of life. Diana has served in a wide range of roles, including inner-city congregations in New York, and now lives in Maine, where she continues to explore mortality, creativity, and transformation through art and reflection.

Her session, titled “Passages After Menopause: Trusting the Twists,” will explore four themes drawn from her own experience:

  • The importance of being oneself (“everyone else is taken”)
  • The emotional clarity and openness that menopause can bring
  • Menopause as a first threshold of mortality—a dying to a former life
  • The continued unfolding of new passages well beyond midlife

Diana speaks with depth, curiosity, and humor about the ways life changes us—and how we can learn to trust the unexpected turns.

🕕 This session takes place Wednesday, June 4th from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Eastern Time.
